Welcome Statement

To Professor Houde, my fellow classmates, friends, or readers I’ve never met before, I bid you welcome to my blog that’s focused on the Colombian community throughout Los Angeles.

Scope Note

For the purpose of completing my semester-long blog assignment for INFO 275 this fall term at San José State University, I will be devoting time to showcasing the traditions, community presence, eateries, hobbies, and challenges of Colombians who reside in Los Angeles County. As a 31-year-old Colombian who was born and raised in the United States, and who’s lived in LA for nine years, this is an exciting opportunity to learn more about my own Latin American culture from the West Coast perspective.
